Also, just to make this day even better I’m laying on the most amazing couch in the world in my lovely little house, in my favorite FSU sweatpants, listening to bomb ass music (yes! to that phrase), and about to nap. Chicago was fly, and I love the Enforcer, but there is not place like home.

If they don’t punk out and claim illness again, that is. I was so mad when they pulled that shit on me in ‘07.

If I can grin and bear it through the Oscars again this year, I’ll give it a shot…the Heath Ledger eventuality really kills me though. I mean, he was fabulous and all, but obviously if E! announces that your mom has announced she will be accepting, it’s a lock.

They are pushing it pretty hard all of a sudden. It’s like somebody in Hollywood went “HEY! I know how we can get more millions! We will make everyone wear glasses while they watch our movies/television shows/whathaveyou and they will LOVE it!”

I have always been a really big fan of IMAX 3-D, because then the sharks and glaciers and lava flows and whatnot are all coming right for you and they are also ginormous, so it’s pretty awesome and worth the $15 (not inclusive of your aquarium visit). But I kinda don’t think I need to watch Rock of Love in 3-D (which if this succeeds will no doubt happen). The boobs are big enough and I don’t want to experience Bret Michaels’ tongue in any kind of quasi-realistic way, thankyouverymuch.

That said, my BF and I saw Coraline (3-D) over the weekend, and it was pretty cool, but I think it would have been cool without being 3-D, given that animation has gotten so GD good that light, hair, flesh, and so on are already astounding in animated films. Also, we had to pay extra for 3-D and the glasses were not very comfortable (and I seriously hope the theatre actually recycles them). Long story short, 3-D is a neat concept but I wonder how well it will do in the larger entertainment market, i.e. outside of overpriced aquariums.

it is meaningless when used in an attempt to label something a scandal and here’s why. Watergate is not a compound word. It is a proper name of a Hotel in D.C. It was called the Watergate scandal because said scandal happened AT THE HOTEL. Which hotel? That’s right, The WATERGATE hotel. It did not happen in the water. It did not happen in the pool. It did not happen on a boat.

You cannot just chop off the end of a proper name and tack it onto a word of your choosing to indicate scandalous behavior i.e.: Nipplegate, Octogate, Bonggate, whatevergate.

It doesn’t freaking work that way and I want every supposedly legitimate news agency that keeps repeating these stupid stupid words, to stop using such idiotic descriptors right effing now. Do it, if not because of what I’ve just mentioned, but because linguistically drawing a comparison between Janet Jackson’s nipple popping out of her top and the biggest political scandal in American history is fucking RETARDED. OK?

I’ve been really good about going to the gym - basically every day for a few weeks (minus the time J came to visit bc… well… whatever, he worked me out) but today I’m having this terrible back and forth with myself.

For the last three days I’ve been working my legs A LOT - to the point where I can feel the soreness when I go to cross and re-cross my legs. This, combined with the new daily 3:35pm headache and the giant pile of laundry on my bed that needs to be folded and the awesome hair day I’m having are making me not want to go. Its also leg day, which means 2 miles of running, 20 minutes on the stair master, and then a full set of lifting.

HOWEVER, I really love the way I feel when I’m there/leaving. Plus there’s that guy that always stares at me which I’ve come to regard as flattering vs. being sketched out by it. I’m also a little weary of the bathing suit wearing aspect of Las Vegas - even though its a couple months away.

So really, its now time to be my internet BFF and tell me what to do.

You’ve been working hard, plus you’re really sore. It would probably do you good to take a day off…the benefits from the workouts you’ve been doing won’t just go away because you skip one day. I say do laundry, enjoy your hair, and get back in there tomorrow.
